Hi everyone!  I thought that you might be interested in a great new website that I’m involved with called Winnit.com!  The concept of the site is pretty unique -- As opposed to traditional auctions where the highest bid wins, at Winnit.com members bid SMALL to win BIG!  Today alone we had a member win an iPod Touch for $1.32, a Louis Vuitton bag for $1.86 and a MacBook Air for $4.71!

So how do you win?  The goal is to be the first (and only!) member to bid a price as close to zero as possible without guessing a price that someone else has already bid. At the close of an auction, if your bid is the lowest, unique amount then you’re the winner!

To get you started, Winnit will deposit $5 into your account just for registering. After that, you can receive $5 for every friend that you refer to the site!  In addition, a portion of the first month’s proceeds from Winnit will be donated to Feeding America, an organization that you all know I am passionate about!

Check it out at the link below and happy bidding!!

New Blog 3/23

posted 1:54pm on Mon Mar 23rd, 2009
hey everybody. i hope this blog finds everyone healthy and happy.
things have been busy for me lately! i've been continuing to do radio
concerts around the country. i was just in mexico last week with mix
from chicago and did an acoustic set with natasha bedingfield. it was
a lot of fun, i've always been a big fan of hers, but i have to say
that she sounded better than ever. she's also on of the nicest people
i know in this business. i also have to admit that people from
chicago really know how to celebrate st. patrick' s day! it was a
good time. i'm gonna be in napa valley doing another radio
promotional concert on april 5th. if any of you have the chance to
win a trip up there to see it, you should try, it's gonna be a lot of
fun.

i want to thank all of you who have continued to request "patience"
on your local radio stations.  i need you all to do something else
for me. i need you to tell everyone you know to check out "taking the
stage" on mtv thursday nights at 10pm. i don't know how many of you
saw the show this past week, but i was really proud of how it came
out. the kids on it are incredibly talented! the tv business is a
very ratings driven business and i need as many people as possible to
watch, so spread the word!

thanks guys! i'll talk to you again soon and have more info on the
album and appearances i'll be doing this spring. until then, take care!

hey everyone!

posted 10:30am on Mon Mar 2nd, 2009

hey everyone! well, i'm finally back home in los angeles for a
little bit after a few weeks out on the road. i love to travel, but
it can get tiring sometimes. i want to thank all of you who came out
and saw me while i was on the east coast last week. it's always great
to see some familiar faces and meet some new ones as well. you guys
make all of the work and travel worthwhile. for those of you who may
not know, i did some acoustic performances that we'll be posting on
the website for you all to check out. some of you will recognize
patience, but we also did another new song from the record call "good
in goodbye". it's just a little taste of what's to come! the buzz
also continues to grow about the song i did with kara dioguardi
called "temporary". this is my favorite track on the album and i
can't wait for you all to hear it. i also hope you all are enjoying
her on american idol. she's doing a great job.

as some of you may have heard, i'm going to be on the show "one tree
hill". i just shot the first episode this past monday in wilmington,
nc. i have to say that everyone in the cast and on the crew were
awesome to work with. it was a lot of fun to do some tv again! you
guys will have to keep an eye out for the episode when it airs. i
will be performing the song "all in my head" in the first episode and
then be appearing in a second episode as well. i'd love to tell you
what happens, but you'll have to wait to see it for yourselves! trust
me, it'll be worth watching!

also, you have heard me mention a show that i created and produced
with mtv. i want to let you all know that the show is called "taking
the stage" and it's premiering on mtv march 19th at 10et. there will
be 10 episodes in the series. this show is awesome and i know you all
are going to like it. it actually takes place at the school where
drew, justin, and i all went and learned the performing arts. check
it out march 19th!

well, the song patience continues to grow at radio. every week we
see more radio stations beginning to play it. up until know, most of
the stations have been older AC stations, but in a couple weeks, the
pop stations are going to start adding it as well. you all have done
a great job in requesting it so far, but i need you to keep it up,
especially as it goes to pop radio. this is a really important time
for the single and for the album. please don't ever underestimate the
impact you all can have in influencing radio with your calls and
requests! they DO listen to you all. please know that i appreciate it.
i'll be hitting the road again soon for more promotion and as
always, i hope to see some of you along the way. check the calendar
for where i'll be and if i'm in your area, come out and say hello.
until then, take care and be well.

NEW BLOG 2/11

posted 10:15am on Wed Feb 11th, 2009
hey guys, i hope everyone is happy and healthy. this has been a
really fun week for me. i took my niece up to tahoe to go skiing for
the first time. there is nothing like seeing a 3 year old playing in
the snow! she had the best time! i hope you all got to see the
grammys the other night. i thought there were some really good
performances, but my favorite had to be sugarland. man, that girl can
sing! i have always liked that song, but hearing her do it live just
blew me away. as a huge led zeppelin fan, i was glad to see robert
plant win as well for album of the year, although i thought radiohead
could have easily won too.

Well, the single is steadily growing across the country and more
and more stations are playing it every week, so all of your requests must
be working. keep on calling your local stations and requesting
"patience", even if they say they aren't playing it yet! you all have
a lot of influence in getting things played on the radio, so don't be
shy!

For those of you on the east coast, i'm going to be in your area
next week. starting on monday, i will be visiting radio stations in
washington dc, baltimore, philly, nyc, hartford, providence, and
boston as well as some others in between. if i'm in your area, come
down and say hi. i'm gonna be performing live at a lot of these
stations as well, so you should come down and check it out. if you
can't make it down in person, make sure you call in and say hey!

Lastly, i want to wish everyone a happy valentines day! make
sure you spend it with someone you love. take care everybody and remember
to always stay positive!

Superbowl Post!

posted 1:01pm on Mon Feb 2nd, 2009

Hey everybody! I hope you all are well.I just got back from the Super Bowl and it was an awesome weekend. As some ofyou may know, I started a charity golf tournament with 3 time defending NASCARchampion Jimmie Johnson at last year’s Super Bowl in Phoenix and we held our 2ndannual tournament this year in Tampa. Once again, it was a great success! Ihave to thank all of the celebrities and athletes who lent their time to helpus out. We were able to raise over $200,000 for a variety of great charities ina time when they most need it. In addition to the golf tournament, we also helda party on Friday night which was a great time. You all can view some of thepictures online and get a feel for what it was like.

Ithink the real high light of the weekend though was the game itself. Man, whata great Super Bowl that was. When my friend Matt Leinart was drafted by theArizona Cardinals, I became a fan of the team, so I was a bit disappointed thatthey lost, but they still played their hearts out. You have to give credit toPittsburgh for winning their 6th Super Bowl. Hopefully at this timenext year, I’ll be celebrating a Cincinnati Bengals win in the big game.

Well,I know it’s been a long time coming, but my first single is finally coming outon radio. For those of you who don’t know, the song is called “Patience”. It’sa remake of a great song done by the group Take That. I heard the song and fellin love with it and felt like it was a great song to remake in my own way. Forthose of you who have heard it, I hope you liked it. For those of you whohaven’t yet, check it out. You can find it on iTunes. Now, this is where I haveto lean on all of you out there. I need you to request “patience” until theradio stations tell you to not call anymore. This is a very important part ofthe process when you’re putting out a new album and it makes a huge difference. My fate lies in your hands! My fans have always supported me and the projects Ihave been a part of and I know this time will not be any different. I NEED YOU!So, wherever you live, call your local radio station and request it. If theytell you they’re not playing it yet, keep calling! Thanks guys!

Lastly,I know we’re all aware of how bad the economy is in our country right now andit doesn’t seem as if it’s going to get much better anytime soon. We all haveto keep our heads up and continue to support one another. Some of you may knowthat I have been a part of a group called Feeding America. They are the largestgroup in the country responsible for supplying and maintaining food banksacross the country. What they do have never been more needed and more importantthan it is right now. If any of you are inclined to help, it is a great thingto be a part of. You can always get more info on feedingamerica.org.

Untilnext time, everyone stay safe and be well! Talk to you soon!
